MARINE ENGINE OILS The Marinex Oils developed by AMCO Lubricants provide a one-stop solutions for most marine engine lubrications requirements. These oils are formulated with differing alkalinity (TBN) reserves, and other a range of protection encompassing most operating conditions - marine and/or stationary power generation service. The HI-Tech Marinex brands are high TBN Cylinder & Trunk Piston Engine Oils (TPEO) suitable for large, medium-speed trunk piston engines. The high alkalinity provides ample base reserves to neutralize acidic by products of combustion, and the severe environment at marine fuels with high sulfur content (12.5%) Hi-Tech Marinex-200 is a TPEO lubricant with a lower alkaline reserve.
